2) yeah, it would be better if we weren't enemies. But we have been for
over a decade, and I don't see that changing immediately. Since I
dislike actual violence, I would prefer a threat. Actually, I'd prefer
peace, but with Bush and Saddam there's not much chance. So I scout
around for ideas that might be acceptable and wouldn't get people hurt.
 Threats that cause the other guy to spend himself broke seem to count.
 If he actually goes broke, you win. If it comes to a fight, and he's
overspent, you have a much easier win, which I also find desireable.
