Yeah. HP and Compaq are the same company now, whichever name you use.
 They are currently claiming that their lawyer did it too them, and that
they won't prosecute this time. But they already got the company to not
post the security information, and they didn't say anything about next
time. I'm not impressed at their attempt at a PR job, and if it's
anything more, I find it quite unimpressive also.

They still haven't done anything to indicate that it's safe to reveal
security holes that you find. And they have done things to show that it
isn't. So they are on my "do not buy" list. Think of it as self
protection, whatever, but since I'm including printers I suppose it
isn't totally self protection.
