I am not impressed by "enough people." Currently our world is filled with
people who are so stuffed with bullshit that they havent the foggiest clue
what is true. And it isn't entirely their own fault. We are drowning in
intentional disinformation, with education often intentionally withheld
or defeated. Most advertisting is disinformation, carefully calculated
to get the proletariat to buy one brand over another, or believe one
religion over another, or vote a certain way.
Take global warming. Please, take it. I just cant convince myself
that a 2-4 degree warming in the next 100 years is a threat. It looks
like a dual solution to a planet that is too cold, too dry and is filled
with plants gasping for CO2.

But why would we want to?
With global warming, the threat appears bogus to me. I just cant
convince myself that a 2-4 degree warming in the next 100 years is
a real problem. But all of the so-called solutions are *real* problems.
CO2 emissions constitute a possible solution to a planet that is too
cold, too dry and is filled with plants gasping for scarce CO2.
Think of greenhouse emissions as environmental repair. spike
