I guess I should get a bigger hard drive to get what I want before they shut
KaZaA down too!

I doubt Hollywood is going to go on a witch hunt to try to find ALL 60
million KaZaA users around the world! I hate what is happening to the USA...
becoming more and more imperialistic (the "We're right, you're wrong, deal
with it" mentality!). It sounds to me like if this ruling goes through, they
are going to try to impose US copyright laws upon the rest of the world,
which is an unbelieveably ballsy move IMHO.

Robert mentioned :
"This *is* a "sign" of the singularity -- can you state
for certain that you are protected from its developments?
If you are protected from these events *are* you protected
from the next set of events?"

What do you guys see as the "next set of events", and how should we protect
ourselves?

I know it's a double-edged sword, the arguements for and against the free
flow of information... I think I fall into the 'for' category (Remember that
hokey movie "Hackers"? ), but with some obvious limitations such as matters
of national security.

My 2 cents,

Artillo
