For all of those extropians interested in how the axe will
fall in terms of the legal environment, I'd suggest you read:

Why is this important? Because it may be one of many
developments where the world moves faster than you do.

This *is* a "sign" of the singularity -- can you state
for certain that you are protected from its developments?
If you are protected from these events *are* you protected
from the next set of events?

While I dislike the role of a dooms-day sayer, I realize
that there may be hints a valid role here. (Once the
asteroid is clearly targeted at the Earth nobody is going
to have an argument with this assertion). [Of course
"asteroids" may be of external or internal manufacture.]

So, my friends, do you have a "Plan B"?
