What I find burst-out-brayingly-funny about this preposterous
finger-wagging at scientific research--

>82-year-old Pope warned of the dangers of
>cientific advances such as genetic engineering.

>[`Modern man'] even puts himself in
>God's place."

a.k.a. `man hubristically plays god'--is the sheer ludicrous gall of
someone daring to *complain* about `putting himself in God's place' even as
he pontificates (literally) from the uniquely pretentious imposture of
being `God's infallible Vicar on earth'.
