Minor deviations: a trend?

Unusual local events:

Lately I've been seeing some strange signs of
organizing among the Y-geners. First, there were
these strange crowds of Y-gen guys, gathering in wierd
places locally, like freeway exits. Then, I noticed
them showing up at the LaB AntiMall, where the Gypsy
Den which I have repeatedly recommended on this list,
is located. Ok, I solved those two. The guys at the
exits were watching road races. The guys at the LaB
are in a role-playing live D&D type thing that has
been going on now for several months.

There are other interesting indications of cultural
evolution among the young, however. Several times now
at the Gypsey Den, there have been incursions of
sociopaths. The Den is generally a very mellow,
low-key intellectual coffee shop type of place.
Typically one or two people with laptops, five or six
with books, and a slew of trendy young fems of typical
Orange County Beach level of good-lookingness - which
means that any one of them would be prom queen just
about anywhere else in the world.

Anyway, several times now, I've witnessed guys come in
and start vicious little power plays, usually picking
women who obviously are total strangers to them as
targets. Friday night, this y-gen guy decided to lean
on this young woman's chair. She had leaned forward
for an instant to listen to her two friends, and this
guy in line just moved over and rested his weight on
the back of her chair, moving it in the process. The
woman immediately noticed and kept trying to indicate
to the guy that she didn't want his attention and
would like him to remove his hand so she could lean
back without having to become in intimate contact, but
she was obviously frightened to make a scene.
Whenever she would try to act like nothing was
happening, he would deliberately shake her chair
slightly. She was definitely unhappy and more than a
little frightened by the time the line finally moved
and he had to move on.

He noticed that I was following all this intently at
some point, and so then for the next hour or so he
kept moving over near me and staring hostily at me,
obviously trying to start something again. The odd
thing was that he was not alone, but in the company of
another woman himself, as well as two other couples.

If this were the only incident of this type, I would
not mention it, but I've been witnessing more and more
such behavior from that age group lately. Any
comments?

Last night, however, Saturday, was interesting in
another sense. I was entering the Men's Room at the
LaB, and, coming from the stand-up urinals was an
obvious woman. She looked a lot like a younger
version of Cher - slender, voluptuous, dark hair,
mid-eastern sort of face. She caught my eye, but had
no expression on her face. I simply nodded slightly
and went on to a stall. There were several other guys
doing their business, some at the urinals. One of
them commented that she was definitely a woman when
someone asked. Another said he had never seen a woman
do it standing up like that. There was no excitement
or any sign of great sexual arousal, just bemusement -
like, oh, that was slightly unusual...

I did happen to consider what would have happened if a
guy had decided to emulate her and entered the Women's
Room next door. Visions of prison, prison rape when
the other prisoners learned of the charges - public
ludity, etc.....

Perhaps we will see some sort of social/behavioral
revolt soon against all the super restrictive society
that most of we Boomers seem hell bent on imposing?
One can hope. ;)
