In the most effective propaganda you present a pretence of impartiality and
then subtly bend the facts in your direction, but in The Observer article
every line screams that America is the anti Christ, and it bends no facts
because it contains none. I'm not up on English newspapers but is The
Observer a real newspaper? It seems like armature hour to me, hell I could
write better propaganda myself and I don't even believe in the viewpoint.
Incidentally when the war started some were saying it would cause millions
of Afghanis to starve to death when winter comes, it didn't happen. Does
anybody really think they'd be better off if the Taliban were still cutting
people's hands off in the soccer stadium? Does anybody really think the USA
would be better off if Osama Bin Laden could still operate there without
opposition?
