Ralph (and the list), you may not believe it but I was once the only female
(in fact, the only female ever in that group's history) on the board of
directors of Seattle M.E.N. (Men's Evolvement Network) (now defunct, due to
creeping mythopoetism, I believe).

You're right - it's as if a lot of women want to retain the privileges they
enjoyed in the past AND have all the new benefits they can reap today, as
well. But most women don't seem to want to give the same options (like
either work OR stay home, and be respected for whatever choice one makes) to
men.

I'll bet you do. It may be easier to rear children without a partner, isn't
it? (At least, single men can more easily adopt now, or buy donor eggs and
(as Barbara Walters may say) womb service - baby steps, maybe, but brought
to you by the pitter-patter of science and a slightly more enlightened
society).
