I beg to differ.

It's important to understand that journalists put their own spin on a topic
and WIRED is known for hyperbole. I have noticed that in some books
written about extropians and other transhumans that there is a tendency for
hyperbole. This WIRED style looks okay in WIRED because it is its style,
but I don't think it fairs well in other writings.

I actually like the piece in WIRED and what I said in my interview and I
have no control over how the journalist tosses it into the pot and stirs it
around. The cover of the magazine said "fun" and this is what I think he
was trying to do with it, even if the journalist comes off in places as
naive or silly.

Let's not copy that style in our own exclamations.
