Not that surprising really, smelling something pleasant will likely
improve your mental state. What would be more interesting is to know
the inter-group differences and if they were significant - is there
really a difference between the smells?

I actually tried scenting my textbook in probability theory lavender
many years ago. It didn't help much. :-)
