Precisely. Hence my `bah humbug' in an earlier post. Although British
usage follows logic by including within quote marks only the words being
quoted, rather than including extraneous punctuation, I've noticed to my
horror that Australian publishers are drifting in the direction of American
usage. They are surely without honour. Sorry, `honor'.
