Sasha wrote about the "funny rule in American English, that
punctuation marks should be inserted inside the quotation marks", and
I agree, as you can see, for the parsing reasons and because it's just
alot easier to put the punctuation outside, especially when you use a
text editor to cut and paste somebody else's words as I did in this
sentence.
