For proponents of UIF, if you do not or refuse to understand that
wishing to live in a UIF society would dictate that you run the risk of
living in a Mikin like community (see "Conquest by Default" by Vinge,
_Threats and Other Promises_), you will wind up as victims of your own
intellectual laziness.
I personally like the idea, which is why I am still a UIF proponent. I
also still eat meat, because I am willing to kill the animals I eat.
While I have respect for vegitarians, I have none for those hypocrites
who eat their burgers, yet are anti fur; Wear their leather coats and
boots, yet are anti hunting; are pro individual freedom, yet are
anti-right to bear arms.
