(To meet the minimum 2 post requirement) The exercise seems to be of
making a prediction based on a datum (our existence) and our view of the
future. But we don't really know anything of the future. We know we
exist now. But we could exist, followed by self-extinction; or exist,
followed by Singularity; or exist, followed by Star Trek; or exist,
followed by asteroid extinction. The only knowledge we have is
compatible with all possibilities. Even better, the argument stays the
same at each point in time. How then can you make any statement about
the future like this?
