Well, thank you very much.

Perhaps I'm just being selfish, Russell, but there is a
phenomenon here, and I'm curous about it for several
reasons. Eliezer Yudkowsky said it best:

You know, I'm glad to know that I am not the only one
in the world who, for some reason [not understood],
manages to completely piss off some people.

I don't get it. I really, really don't get it.

I thought I knew what I was doing that was pissing people
off, and that I'd made a deliberate decision to keep doing it.
But Lee isn't doing any of those things and he's getting
exactly some of the same negative reactions I sometimes get.

Some people, like me, have absolutely no idea what Lee
could be doing wrong. [!] Others all seem to not only see
something horribly wrong with Lee but to basically agree
        on what it is. [!!]

What on Earth is going on? Total bafflement is a rare
experience for me.... I understand people getting ticked
off at me, Ifni knows I work at it. But Lee? What the
heck did he *do*? What's going on here?

Listen, it's *no* coincidence that about six or eight people
said approximately the same thing concerning my posts, though
I and some others still think it is still a baffling mystery.
Obviously I'm doing *something*. Whatever it turns out to be,
I want to remove it (unless the explanation turns out to be
mundane).

I would invite people uninterested in the discussion to ignore
it, that's all.

Lee
