Hubert -
I'm happy to oblige, but I expect that most people would simply query the great Google and get a more complete explanation. These are Myers-Briggs personality classifications, extensively discussed on this list a while back.

Why then, do we so often feel disconnected?<<<
Jef, I give you a simple example: the four letter words INTJ / ENTJ don't mean anything to me. When I read a posting I find interesting and stumble across two or three of those abbreviations I am frustrated and don`t get the message. It could be a measure of politeness to write those words out for the sake that everybody knows what you mean. Of course it is a matter of knowledge acquiring. Maybe some volunteers canl set up a website for an abbreviation database so all or at least the most common three-or-four-letter-words in extropy traffic can be listed and in the course of time nobody must have a bad conscience anymore to use abbreviations. Whenever there are a few minutes of spare time you can upload a couple of terms to that website. Just a proposal that would really pay off.
