I don't suppose any artificial heart transplant patients have yet gone
flying commercial; given their general poor state of health I doubt any
have tried. Forcing such a person to remove his power pack would be
negligent homicide as the very least- the would-be passenger would
likely say, "Hey, it ain't worth my life to get there today, I'll come
back tomorrow with my doctor, okay?" before it came to that. I hope.
