Actually, I agree with this. As list admin, I do make a point of keeping
an eye out for those who are outside the guidelines. Usually it is
unintentional, and the "offender" (if he/she can be called that) won't do
it again.
As I have mentioned numerous times before, if anyone here notices that the
list guidelines have been breached --be it for ad hominem, list overposting
etc.-- please let me know. While I generally feel I do a good job of
maintaining list guidelines, there are times when my own personal time is a
bit pinched...in this case, I have been spending most of my spare time on
Exponent, which will come out later today.
Finally, in regards to publicly lambasting a person for breaching list
guidelines, I really don't think that is necessary. Let me know about the
breach and I will send the "offending" person a private email.
