Well, there are reasons why I work so hard at becoming wealthy, and at
staying on the cutting edge. This isn't one of the big ones, but it does
make the list.

But that's the future for you - fast technological improvement causes
growing disparities in both wealth and technological access/understanding,
while at the same time making the differences more and more important in
practical terms.
