Most gun control advocates are in favor of totally disarming the
civilian populace, guns for the police and military only. Many are
dishonest, (not to be trusted) and unwilling to admit this.
Their ploy is simple, pass a stupid law like "only one gun purchase
a month" then when something happens say "see the laws aren't tough
enough, we need a new law that says only one gun purchase a year".
etc, etc, etc.
