Yep. I've swapped cards many times. Only a few clerks actually raise an
eyebrow when my name comes out of the system as something like "Stephany
Nguyen" or similar.

Fortunately my name is very common; every city of any size usually has a
half dozen or more people with my name. At stores where they like to
match you to a person/address in their database (like Guitar Center), I'll
usually just pick a random address off the list that comes up matching my
name. Since I often give fictitious addresses, there are a lot of stores
that I frequent that have an enormous list of addresses for people with my
name. I figure that it doesn't really hurt to pollute my personal
namespace.
