Titanium is usually sintered, and then forged. Liquid titanium is damn
reactive (iirc Ti filings tend to ignite during machining, and merrily
burn in nitrogen) and its mechanical properties are dramatically
degraded by traces of contamination, so I wonder what you wanted to
use for material for your cast.

I would rather use NC metal mill to subtract from a massive forged
piece, but tool head bulk will limit shape repertoire. </O.D.onL.F.P>
