You seem to assume that having fun is a waste of
time/energy/intelligence/etc. I disagree. Having fun can quite often
be useful - when I spend an afternoon playing computer games I am
learning strategic skills and satisfying some of my psychological
drives that would otherwise interfere with my activities. "All work
and no fun will make your AI a dull boy" - and then nobody wants to
deal with it, and you lose money on it.
