Oh...

Ok.....I can be big about this....<sniff>...guess i heard wrong..

ummmm...how densely populated is New York?...maybe I can do that web
thing...lessee..

'"New York is a densely packed mass of humanity - 7 million people in 309 sq
miles "

so......that's 22,653 people per square mile?

not quiet up to 23,041...but close...

lemme see....

an alternate source says NYC has a population density of 23,700....chicago
12,300,....San Francisco 15,500, per square mile...all together there are
five US cities that have a population density of greater than 10,000 people
per square mile (1990 figgers)...

World wide?

Tokyo = 25,018
Mexico City = 40,036
Seoul = 49,099
Bombay = 127,379
Jakarta = 130,026

Wow.

So.......the entire world's population would fit in texas at a population
density of less than one fourth that of Jakarta?

.......of less than or equal to (at least) fifteen of the world's most
densely populated cities?

Amazing...
