Yes, indeed, we just haven't finalized the question of whether to act according
to enlightened self-interest because we can, or because we ought to. If we do it
because we can, our work may never get done (so much to do, so little time). If
we do it because we ought to, we may never do anything at all, because we may
find that doing nothing best suits our enlightened self-interest (sitting
quietly, doing nothing, enlightenment comes, and questions evaporate by
themselves).
