Actually, this is closer to what I meant. I simply think some people will
NOT allow themselves to move on, and will try to prevent anyone else from
doing so. They will have to be left behind, since it is not ethical, to me,
to force people to do things, even if 'it's for their own good'. The
thought that someone would not take up the chance to better their lives
sounds sad, but it's quite common.
