Hello everyone,
I have been lurking for a few days and am enjoying the conversations.
Science, history, and politics are my main interests when I read. I am
a libertarian atheist with a small "L" and a huge "A". I find the
"political correctness" of the whiny left as irritating as the "moral
correctness" of the rigid right.
My home is in the lakes region on Lake Winnisquam in NH and I am an avid
swimmer and skier. Hanover, NH was my hoe town. I ski raced and also
taught skiing at Killington, VT for 8 years. Cliff diving, and extreme
skiing in ravines are great fun: I'm 49 and a bit crazy.
I own a small winter headwear business, 6 seasons now, Medusa Headbands,
and make hats, neck gaiters, helmet shellaclavas and fashion headbands.
I dont have to work any set hours or days! So being self-employed has
allowed me to be the real screw-off that I am.
