A TCP/IP stack?
An RS-232 port?

For that matter, the IDE protocol. Any place where an interface has been created
for components to speak to other components. In these situations we see
protocols that were influenced by the requirement that they be IMPLEMENTED by
humans, but that were not influenced by a requirement to be USED by humans.

Perhaps after Mr. Yudkowsky's seed AI has run for several generations we can
crack open the source and see interfaces not influenced by a need to be
implemented by humans.
