Agreed. The "acceleration" bit was one of the imperfections I was thinking
of in my message to Robin. Why not just just take out "the acceleration of"?
Also, "...creativity, and other rational methods" might sound odd, since it
might seem to be implying that creativity is a rational procedure in the
sense of following a well-defined algorithm. Perhaps: "by means of science,
technology, creativity, and any rational means." [Maybe use "effective"
instead of "rational".]
