I can't agree with you more. Software deveopment managers are worse than
lawyers. I live in a mild climate, and I have:

1. water in my water heater
2. 20 gal propane tank, adaptor for small gas stove
3. canned goods
4. can opener

Course if you live in a cold climate, get a kerosene or gas heater.

I've been thru the Quake of 89 here, was 3 days without power. Hey,
BTDT...
