That's a big risk we'd be taking with the only planet we have. The global
climate system is, at this point, complexety beyond our comprehension (many
factors, some not understood, relating in non-linear ways) and should
consequently be treated with greatest possible care.

And if the prairie does not some back, the new weather patterns are even
more arid and the surface temperature goes up by 2 degrees in the sahara
those people will be in eeven greater trouble. I guess we need big AI's to
help us understand the cause-effect relations in the global climate system,
untill then: tread carefully.
