Certainly it would be more efficient to grow organs and limbs you need,
but we don't know how to do that. We're closer to being able to clone a
body. And then again, such things take time -- why not clone the entire
body and have spares instantly accessible for whatever you need?

Of course it'd be really more efficient to genofix ourselves to
regenerate limbs naturally.
