I think there's another aspect as well. We not only have wants, but our
own model of our wants, which may not be true. I've met many people who
say they want to do something but in practice all they do is talk about
wanting it and never take any action towards achieving that goal. So their
true wants are different to the model of their wants that they expound to
other people.
To me, one of the most important things I've been doing in the last year
or two is to change the wants and model to bring the two of them into
agreement.
