Yes, it would be trivial. Just modify the emulation (which involves a lot
of emulation of neurotransmittor and receptor activity) slightly. You
could even create drugs with no aftereffects or completely new virtual
drugs, working in completely new manners (like a dominance-enhancing drug
that works only on your amygdala, or drugs to produce pleasant visual
hallucinations based on internet traffic).
