Dear friends one and all,
In this thread about the 60s I admit to being a member of the 50s
generation. I had forgotten reading Jack Kerouac, listening to Thelonious
Monk, and the beat jokes.
Did you hear about the Beat that saw a man drowning?
The Beat yelled to the guy, 'Swim man swim.'
The fellow yelled back, 'I can't swim.'
'Then fake it man, fake it.'
Come to think of it, it is no wonder those jokes died out. LOL
But now that you have reminded me please let me wish everyone
a cool yule and a frantic first.
