"Personally, in general, I prefer the so called intellectual as a type."

So true!!! Being male everyone thinks I must prefer the stereotypical
playboy model. But when I look around and see pictures of models plastered
on the walls in shopping malls and in front of victoria secrets, they
*always* have that passive demure coy look. You almost never see a women in
any kind of sexual connontation standing proud and tall. This is what I
want to see, not coy looks behind wavy hair hiding half the face, with their
jaw lowered and fake innocent glance at the camera. I want to see a
magazine of not just beautiful women, but beautiful intelligent women. I
want to see bios that talk about the current research the she is
undertaking, what her PhD thesis is, or the 1,000 page novel their working
on, or thier latest incredible painting. Not "tee hee, I like to go
shopping and hang out with my friends and watching survivor"

But this is primarily because most men prefer women passive and demure, at
least I have read of a few pyschological studies indicating as much, and
judging from the way most women are represented, and the way most men I
interact with, think of, and what they admire about women it seems to be a
valid presumption.

Where are the beautiful strong, intelligent, confident hard working women?
Im sure there are many? A women can be confident secure and proud, while
still being beautiful and sexual, but do you ever see that in posters / ads
/ movies?

I keep thinking Dagny Taggert in Atlas Shrugged.

Oh well...

Michael
