What do American Airlines and the State of California
have in common?
Answer: they both have to make severe spending cuts
that aren't politically possible without declaring
bankruptcy (in one case) and near insolvency in the
other. In each case, parties that will be hurt that
usually have to much political power to be hurt.
Maybe its the only way that these organizations
can survive.
