21st Century World Politics of Transhumanists

I've been reading many of the posts on this list and related lists about
politics and policies.

I think we need a council of folks who feed information to a core team of
transhumanists to take a look at the global political landscape and
consider the central issues to both the world civilization and
transhumanists. We do not function in a wormhole, so we do need to think
of all humanity while designing our policies.

Pro-Act http://www.progressaction.com was formed to consider the world
situation in regards too much of the anti-transhumanist statements
regarding future sciences, technologies and culture. We did accomplish
quit a bit in regards to identifying much of the opposing views and deal
with some ways to temper them.

The political and religious beliefs that drive both the world economy and
culture need to be looked at carefully and we need to pin point what are
the best ways to communicate effectively in hopes of developing some sort
of understanding. As our community grows larger, and it is, to be sure, we
need to find our place in society. Not as a radical, anarchist, die-hard
sentiment, but with a mature understanding of all of society with a
socio-economic/philosophical understanding.

The world's politics are central to the people of each and every country or
territory. http://www.politicalresources.net/

How can we pick and choose the best elements of each political party and
government in order to find at least some level of understanding and
communication?

(If you don't respond, I'll just keep posting on this thread until someone
body somewhere wants to work on this :-))
