That is great, Natasha. I am so glad you are okay now. However, Techno
was entirely correct. Numerous Supreme Court rulings have demonstrated
and stated that police forces have no jurisdiction or authority to
protect individuals. Their job is to investigate crimes after they
occur, pursue suspects, and bring them to court so that they may be
prosecuted. If police had NOT been there to protect you, your family
and friends would have no legal claim against them for failing to do
so, because it is ultimately your own responsibility to protect
yourself, not theirs.
