What's so hard about counting 11 million votes? Even if you've got only
10 thousand people running it, that's only 1100 votes each, that's about
40 minutes if you are taking a full two seconds per paper. The vote
counting in many countries larger than 11 million people is routinely
done in a day, which is why the situation in the USA was so risible to
many people. (this is not a comment on the overall legitimacy of the
ballot, just the objection raised seems senseless to people who have
seen election results obtained in two hours).
