No. However, the degree of religious belief has been shown to be highly
genetically determined by twin studies - identical twins almost always
share the same degree of religious belief, while fraternal twins vary
substantially. The specific religion does not appear to be genetic.
So we have a drive to believe, but exactly what we believe is up
to the memes.
