metaphor of the "great sucking sound" that we'll all hear as
a result of NAFTA's passage, the sound of all those jobs going

remain virtually constant. Yes, economies change, and what jobs people
perform in a
country change over time.

Let me resurrect an argument on this list, of old (circa 2001). Have
American's lost significant jobs because of directed immigration sponsored by
American corporations using H1-B employees (imported IT workers) and
especially Offshore work?
I believe I read that the American Society of Engineers (ASE) is lobbying
Congress for relief against such corporate practices. Why pay an American
worker 60K when an imported national is only making 25K? Moreover, why pay an
H1-B 25k when a corporation can pay an Off-Shore franschise worker 12K??
I have no desire to blame foreign workers or hold them accountable for
American economic distress. I have often thought that why should we
this practice to foreign IT workers?
Let us clear the boards of American based corporations and instead of paying
American assholes 5-million to screw up a corporation, we can hire Foreign
Directors to screw up a busines for 1/10th the cost of an American CEO?

Will the magical invisible hand work in our favor, or does reality denote
that we are instead, given the invisible finger?
My suspicion is that people who committ fraud by lying about the true value
of a stock may have other bad habits as well.
