You know Spike, you are raising the very questions I ask myself every time I
see one of those movies or books that are based on some dastardly CIA plot.
I've learned to avoid those as it always seems the story is a bit thin. I
assume that the plot couldn't stand on its own so the CIA is run in to be the
villain -- sort of a lazy writer's device.
       The disservice they perform is that they muddy the water until we
can't tell what is really going on. Do you suppose the CIA is promoting
those stories just to muddy the water?
