Yes Samantha,
       I believe it does. The end result has very few significantly
different results. A boxer hits you with either his left hand or his right
hand, kicking is usually outlawed, regardless of the number of names of
punches involved.
       In politics you are usually being dominated by a thug whether in the
form of a King, Emperor, Dictator, Protector of the Proletariate or what
ever. Or, on the other hand, you are reasonably free and fighting off the
initiatives of would be dictators that get elected to power claiming they
want to help the little people.
       Maybe once in the lifetime of a nation you get an elected leader that
returns to private life refusing to feather his own nest.
       Am I wrong?
