Mike,
About three centuries ago my family were members of a religious group
that over threw the King of England and cut off his head -- you can look it
up, it is called Cromwell's Rebellion. We proceeded to install our view of
religion into law and our government.
In about ten years the people of England got so sick of being goody
two shoes according to our prescription that they threw us out. They did
various nasty and fatal things to the ones of us they caught. My branch of
the family slid out of the country quietly -- we survived.
My prediction is that if the Al Qaida ever win they will not only lose
but eventually be massacred. My hope is to avoid the nastiness between now
and then.
