There are legitimate issues that the western world has with the Moslem
world, but we don't initiate mass violence and murder against innocent
people, either as government policy or via privateering. The Taliban,
for example, were a distinctly Muslim scourge on humanity, yet
celebrated in the muslim world, and we did nothing out of 'sensitivity'
to the right of the muslim world to be as depraved and barbarous as
they believe their religion demands. We did not launch bombing attacks
on Mecca and Medina, nor upon any other moslem center of commerce or
culture in an attempt to 'send a message' that we had 'legit reasons'
to be angry with their offenses against our human rights sensitivities.

Several muslim dictators have sent teams into the US in the past 20
years in attempts to assasinate US presidents (Quadaffi and Saddam both
sent such teams).

The Islamic regieme in Teheran not only tortured and ransomed many
innocent Americans in Teheran, they did the same through their
sponsorship of Hezbollah, which kidnapped more than 30 Americans at
various times for ransom, torture, and murder.

The Saudi regieme has an active role in the white slavery trade
worldwide, and routinely tortures American workers in Arabia who report
criminal activity that involves Saud family relatives.

Saddam Hussein has chemically gassed thousands of his own citizens with
internationally banned substances.

I just noticed that yesterday was the 30th anniversary of the Munich
Massacre of innocent Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics by
Palestinian terrorists under the orders of Arafat. To this day, the
europe based International Olympic Committee has yet to issue any
statement of condolence or condemnation for the deaths of 11 innocent
Israelis, out of fear of a boycott of the Olympics by the muslim world.

These are just a petty few of the thousands of instances where the
muslim world's first option in any situation seems to be violence,
where we in the west see it as a last option.

Your insistence that their outrage is holier than ours can only be used
to justify, excuse, and apologize for their violence and intolerance.
There is no other reason to bring it up in conversation.
