So, you are willing to embroil us and the entire region in war
based on your notion of what Saddam would like to do but that
there is no evidence he can do? Every leader of every country
on the face of the earth probably has considerable "will to
power". Does that mean we should attack all of them? Never, in
the most inflated versions of Saddam's worse sins did he begin
to approach the unspeakable immoral stature of a Stalin. The
very suggestion or allusion here is pointless. What Saddam may
wish is nothing but some guess. It is immaterial as a
justification for war.
