Oh contraire, the homicide bombing have stopped everytime an IDF invasion
occurs, as it is happening to this very hour. With many if not most
Jihaddis, being "nice" with a Kaffar is something you do when you are not in
a power position. Arafat, just quoted the Koran on this last wednesday, I
believe.
<<If niceness is a fundamental problem, where are the suicide terrorists
targetting Canada?>>
1st, the Islamic Jihaddis are using Canada's open immigration laws to send
"warriors" into the USA, as they did on 9-11, as they attempted to when two
of their number came in for the "milenium" strikes, from Vancouver, B.C. and
got arrested in Seattle.
Secondly, the Canadians have for decades hidden behind the USA with little
going to defense compared, per capita to what the Americans payed. You can't
have a nice socialized medicine system, and pay for a total defense system.
Hence, let us just say the Canadians contributed what they thought they
could. The Canadians apparently learned the enormous, financial, burdens of
supporting the mother country, the UK, while America dozed under isolationism
circa 1939-41.
<<I won't speak for Amara, but I'm no advocate of defenselessness, or not
punishing those who attack you. (If you can find them.) But there's no
binary choice between being willing to defend the "homeland" (gaack) and
being
willing to criticize our policies or general attitude. One can do both quite
easily. Kind of like being a libertarian on a left-right spectrum.

Yes, there are different ways to defend the "homeland" then what the Prez has
come up with. One way is to liberate ourselves from OPEC oil, especially the
middle eastern kind. That would be a nice element, wouldn't it?
