Yes, Lee's letter was strange. A large volume of others on this list
too. Spending time hating rather than adoring and cherishing and loving?
What a waste. The treatment of life I've seen here makes me feel like
throwing up.

Treating life -- individually or as a group, whether that life is a
child or an adult, man or woman, afghan, cloned baby ... as incredibly
precious, is a kind of reverence for me. Young people and children in
particular are a major part of our future.

However, reverence is not something that you can convince someone else
to feel and maybe this is the issue. Emotionally feeling a reverence for
life.
